Regretfully We Announce the Passing of Former GAA Principal Hal Hampton
Hal Hampton, former principal of Glendale Adventist Academy from 1991-1998, passed away in his sleep Monday night, June 7, 2010. Services will be held in Loma Linda at the Montecito Park Mortuary on Sunday, June 13, at 12:00 noon. Viewing begins at 11:00 a.m. Hal is survived by his wife Marge, who taught at both Glendale Adventist Elementary and West Covina Hills school.

Music Dept. Benefit Concert a Great Success!
The annual GAA Music Dept. Benefit Concert that took place on March 6, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hall of Liberty in Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills was a great success. This year's theme was "Out of This World". The wonderful Glendale Academy Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Chorale all did fantastic along with the great guest artists that the program featured.

Date Change for Academy Open House for 8th Graders
Please note that that the date for Academy Open House has changed to one week later from what has been on the calendar. Open House will now be on Thursday, January 28 at 7:00 p.m. Hope to see you there!

GAA students participate in the Pacific Quest program at Pacific Union College
A number of GAA students participated in the special Pacific Quest program offered by Pacific Union College this past summer. The program is designed to give academically advanced students an chance to experience various educational opportunities at the college level. Two of our GAA students are pictured: Miranda Larson and Alexandria Lee. Another GAA student Ryan Chang also attended the program.
